Today parents and guardians were emailed information to sign into NUSD’s  App and obtain classroom data about their children at the push of a finger.

The development will allow parents to monitor their child’s education at any time, from anywhere, through their telephone or computer.

Parents of secondary students can program the App to send them an alert if their child’s classroom grade falls below a threshold they set – “B,” for example – or if the student is not attending class regularly. Assignments can be tracked daily from class to class.

All parents can monitor their child’s attendance record or cafeteria balances – and use the “My School Bucks” feature of the App to add money to their cafeteria accounts.

Once parents receive their ID and password, NUSD recommends they log onto the system to make sure their personal information is correct. Afterward, they can configure the App to provide their child’s classroom information. Specific directions are available by clicking “App Help,” which is an icon on the App’s first page. Call Constituent and Customer Services with questions, 561-5253.

Parents or guardians who did not receive their log-in ID or password should contact the main office of their child’s school.

NUSD’s free App can be downloaded now from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Learn more at https://natomasunified.org/apps/.
