Measure J is a $129 million school facilities bond on the November 2014 ballot that would serve all Natomas schools – charter and non-charter. The Natomas Unified Board of Trustees approved a Facilities Master Plan that identifies school facility needs over the next 15 years. Measure J proposes to:
- Expand academic choice and program options
- Improve safety
- Enhance learning opportunities to support college and career readiness
- Build new campuses to meet enrollment growth anticipated from lifting the local building moratorium
