Health is priceless, fundamental and irreplaceable. Healthy students make better learners.

Families lacking health insurance can obtain one through California’s Affordable Care Act exchange through Sunday, Jan. 31, which ends a three-month open enrollment period. Subsidies are available based on income.

The federal government mandates health insurance for most Americans and imposes financial penalties for non-compliance. Penalties this year are significantly higher than last year. Sacramento Covered is available to answer questions about policy options and mandates at 1-866-850-4321.

With the deadline for open enrollment nearing, “Last Chance Enrollment” will be available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday (Jan. 29-31) at two Sacramento locations: 8928 Volunteer Lane, Suite 220, and at 2020 29th St., Suite 201. More information is provided in the flyer below.
