Welcome Back Cheetah families to the 23-24 school year! I am excited to be back this year for so many reasons. We now have an assistant principal with us this year. Kimberly Stepp has worked as a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) for the last two  years and was the Teacher in Charge while I was out for 4 weeks this past year. Many of you have had the chance to meet her already and I look forward to you meeting her in her new role this year!

In the 23-24 school year we will continue to grow as IB learners becoming knowledgeable of the world around us and always looking to find how we fit into it. We will continue to take steps toward ensuring that every student is growing and feels heard and accepted in our diverse community. We will do this by  implementing Community Circles or a Morning Meeting in EVERY class every morning for 20+ minutes. We will also support the individual academic needs of each student during our WIN groups daily.

H Allen Hight welcomes all of our families to participate in our students’ education! There are several ways to become involved in our community including PTA, School Site Council and class and recess volunteers. This year we are adding our WatchDOGS to our campus! You will hear more about them soon! We provide families with information on our school website, in teacher newsletters, calendars, email newsletters, and with Parent Square phone calls, texts, and emails.  You may also access the Infinite Campus Parent Portal from our school website.
