Welcome!
As of February 27, 2014, we are fully authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. We received authorization for the Middle Years Programme (grades 6-10), in conjunction with Natomas Middle School, on January 22, 2016. You can read more about our DP authorization here.
Scholars is an honors program to prepare students in grades 9 and 10 for the rigors, breadth and depth of the IB Diploma Programme. Students apply to be part of the program and are scheduled in accelerated classes taught by IB-trained teachers.
Applications for the Class of 2028 opened on November 15 and are due by January 31, 2024. There is a “how to” document in the application forms section, and the application link is at the right. If you’re interested in applying for the Scholars Class of 2027 or taking IB Diploma Programme courses as part of the Class of 2026, please email first for information once the application is opened. Notifications of acceptance will go out in March 2024.
Please note that there is a separate enrollment process for Inderkum that also needs to be completed in order for your student to be considered for Scholars/IB. Please review this chart carefully to learn the required steps to complete your student’s enrollment.

Like all Inderkum freshmen and sophomores, their classes are part of the IB Middle Years Programme, but they are more accelerated in anticipation of taking on the IB Diploma Programme. We’re no longer using Remind as a primary form of communication. For all currently enrolled students and families, please make sure that your ParentSquare account is working and that you have notifications set to your preferred options. I still am able to receive messages via Remind, but I won’t use that to send out messages to current students.
Exact times and locations will be added to the schedule in the future.
2024 IB Exam Schedule This version shows IB Exams only. Most (probably all) exams will happen off campus. Details will be shared closer to May.
2024 IB + AP Exam Schedule This version shows all of the IB and AP exams given by Inderkum. Mrs. Mathews and Mrs. Downing have reviewed the schedules and used AP late dates where needed to resolve conflicts.

Enrollment at Inderkum is a separate process from applying to a program. Find more information via this link. We do not have opportunities for school day visits.
