Celebrating Cesar Chavez Day

March 31, 2015---California Assemblymember Kevin McCarty (D-Sacramento) visited Natomas Middle School in to support us in celebrating Cesar Chavez Day. After an introduction by our Superintendent Chris Evans, he gave wonderful encouragement to our students to keep the peace.

Also visiting with us was one of  Cesar Chavez's nieces, Rebecca (Becky) Chavez of Teatro Nagual a non-profit organization that produces programs that educate the community about the effectiveness of non-violent change.

Welcome Assembly Member Kevin McCarty
