Join Us for Back to School Night on Thursday, Aug. 28
Parents, guardians and the entire Natomas Middle School campus community are invited to the Panthers’ Back to School Night on Thursday, Aug. 28.

The annual event, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., provides an opportunity to meet NMS teachers and administrators – including our new principal, Dr. Tina Tranzor.
NMS is committed to providing a quality and educational experience for every student. Academic highlights include an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme that has been accepted by IB for candidacy status.
Dr. Tranzor comes to Natomas Middle School from Oakland’s Montera Middle School, where she had served as principal since 2012. Previously, Dr. Tranzor was the school’s assistant principal. Her resume includes stints as a teacher for English Learner students, a math specialist for the Oakland Unified School District, and as a classroom teacher at Garfield Elementary School in Oakland.
