Thinking of a restaurant job? NUSD Adult Education is offering a free, three-hour California Food Handler Course that will end with an exam enabling participants to obtain a card required to work as a cook or food handler in restaurants or other dining facilities.
This course could launch a new career for you!
Instruction is scheduled from 3-6 p.m. Monday (Sept. 26) in the District’s Staff Development Center, 1931 Arena Blvd.Topics to be covered include basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination and allergens, time and temperature, and cleaning and sanitation.
