A: I had amazing teachers and staff that encouraged me to pursue higher education.”

Q: How did an NUSD education help prepare you for college or career?

A: “The most important lesson my NUSD education taught me was to not give up even when the task seems impossible to accomplish. There were many times in classes when I felt like I could not succeed but persevered.”

Q: What advice would you give to current students?

A: “A lot of success is hard work. Sometimes our goals and aspirations seem unattainable, but unless you try you will never know. Don’t underestimate your own abilities.”
