Q: How would you complete this sentence? NUSD was good for me because …

A: “…the diversity of NUSD created a great understanding of other cultures as well as points of view. This has proven to be very important, especially given the divided nature of today’s society. Without my classmates and the great teachers who promoted intelligent and thoughtful conversation, I don’t know what kind of man I would be today.”

Q: “How did an NUSD education prepare you for college or career?

A: “My NUSD education, combined with involvement in the many different sports and extra-curricular organizations that were offered, taught me a lot about time management, which is one of the most important skills to develop for life after high school.”

Q: What advice would you give to current students?

A: “Keep your mind open. Always be willing to learn new things, and be willing to accept and learn from feedback both positive and negative. You can make it in whatever field you are willing to work hard for and adapt in.”

Q: Favorite memory from NUSD days?

A: “My favorite NUSD memories were made in the realm of athletics. The lifelong friends and memorable experiences I have had through athletics will be something I will always be grateful for.”

Q: Future goals?

A: “My future goals are to grow in my current company and learn the skills necessary to start my own sports-based company. In addition, it is a goal of mine to help grow awareness and participation in the sport of rugby in the USA.”

NUSD’S BOARD-APPROVED VISION: “All NUSD students graduate as college and career ready, productive, responsible, and engaged global citizens.”
