Board of Trustees honors NUSD’s 16-person ‘Class of 2018’ retirees

NUSD's 2018 class of retirees

NUSD’s Board of Trustees honored this year’s “Class of 2018” retirees last night, 16 employees totaling nearly 300 years of cumulative service to our students and schools. Their jobs range from teacher to custodian to campus safety specialist.

Retirees were presented a trophy by the Board as a token of appreciation for all they have done for this district and local families.

Members of this year’s retiree class are:

1) Ruben Ballesteros, Maintenance Specialist III/Electrician, 20 years of NUSD service

2) Gloria Beus, Instructional Assistant 1, 5 years of NUSD service

3) Sherlyn Bradley, Instructional Assistant II, 29 years of NUSD service

4) Jeanette Broderick, Teacher, 20 years of NUSD service

5) Renee Carrington, Teacher, 28 years of NUSD service

6) Scott Davey, Teacher, 10 years of NUSD service

7) Kristi Dills, Teacher, 12 years of NUSD service

8) Susan England, Teacher, 13 years of NUSD service

9) Martin Jaime, Custodian, 28 years of NUSD service

10) Genevieve Kaio, Campus Safety Specialist II, 15 years of NUSD service

11) Thanh Le, Custodian, 17 years of NUSD service

12) Leticia Lujan, Custodian, 14 years of NUSD service

13) Carrie Markel, Teacher, 3 years of NUSD service

14) Joaquin Torres, Custodian, 27 years of NUSD service

15) Kendall Vanderford, Teacher, 36 years of NUSD service

16) Chuck Yee, Food Services Assistant II, 12 years of NUSD service
