I am excited to teach each of the young scientists who will be attending American Lakes School this year! Together we will pioneer a new middle school science department, make amazing discoveries, and engage in inquisitive experiments.

I come to ALS with a lifelong love of science and a love of teaching and learning. While I earned my degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis many years ago, I continue to learn new things every day and my aim in my classroom is always to continue to pass that love of learning on to students.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my wife and two daughters, climbing mountains, running, kayaking, reading, and cooking.

I believe every student can succeed and I look forward to being a part of that process this year!
