Hello! My name is Josie Peavy and I am honored to be a Second Grade Teacher here at Two Rivers Elementary.  Over the last 26 years, I have taught 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th Grades in Natomas Unified and two other districts.  Sacramento is my home, but was raised in Los Angeles.  My Sacramento family includes my husband, a daughter in college, a son in High School and three cats. In my free time, I love to read, cook, bike, garden, do house projects, visit new places and spend time with friends and family. For college, I graduated from U.C. Riverside, then attended California State University, San Bernardino for my Teaching Credential. 

Being a teacher is a big part of my life and I love what I do.  All students have potential to learn and grow and it is a pleasure to support them on their journey.  My job is to help students become curious, productive, kind and skilled learners!
