Hello Panther families and friends:

My name is Kelvin Jackson and I am the 6th grade Design Teacher.  This is my second year teaching here at Natomas Middle School; howerver, I have over a decade of experience working in the education field. Before joining the team here, I served as Principal and English teacher at Natomas Christian School. Before that I worked five years at NP3 Middle School, where I taught 6th and 7th grade English Language Arts. Before NP3, I was a guest teacher in the Natomas Unified District, serving long term positions at Heron School (8th grade Algebra and Social Studies) and Inderkum High School (English Language Arts). Prior to joining NUSD, I worked as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher at New Testament Christian School in North Highlands, CA. In addition to my career in Education, I have worked in Banking, Insurance, Media, and as an entrepreneur.

My wonderful wife, Tracy, and I have been married since 1997. We have three beautiful daughters - two who are attending college and one in high school. We enjoy spending time with each other traveling, playing games, and watching movies.

I am grateful to be here at NMS and I look forward to a successful year.
