I am a fifth year teacher and I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten! I am very passionate about facilitating the learning of the young minds of children and empowering them to become agents of change in the world. 

I was born and raised in Sacramento and I also graduated from Inderkum High School here in Natomas Unified. I went to Cal Poly Pomona for my bachelor's in Liberal Studies and continued my education at Sacramento State for my teaching credential and Master's in Education. I live in South Natomas and enjoy teaching in my community. When I'm not at school, you will probably find me at the gym or the outdoors hiking, playing soccer, and exploring new places. I also love going to the movies, trying new food places, and watching sports. Don't be afraid to ask what my favorite teams are! 

I have a YouTube Channel (Ms. Torres Kinder Rocks!) where I sing sight word songs and read stories. Feel free to check out my channel for videos to aide your student in their learning.
