The Business Services Department provides an integral and essential element to the successful delivery of education to the students in our District. Our primary purpose is to facilitate the educational process by providing new facilities, technology support, financial services, student transportation, food services, and maintaining and operating existing facilities. Our code of conduct is driven by a culture of customer service. We instill within our department exemplary leadership, management, innovation, initiative, pride and personal work ethics.
Business Services includes Financial Services and Nutrition Services/Warehousing that support the educational programs of the school district. Each of the two departments is lead by Directors that report to the Deputy Superintendent of Administrative Services. The Deputy Superintendent reports directly to the Superintendent of the school district.
The Financial Services Department accounts for and reports all the District’s financial transactions. These activities include budget development and management, purchasing, asset management, accounting, payroll, employee health and welfare benefits, accounts payable, internal auditing, and the management of all the District’s funds.
The primary function of the Nutrition Services Department is to provide students with a nutritious, appealing and delicious breakfast and lunch in order to enhance learning and performance while establishing positive lifelong eating habits. Our talented food services team is dedicated to providing professional, friendly service to students and staff. The department operates within the guidelines set by the U.S.D.A. and the National School Lunch program to provide nutritious meals.
