NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the availability of the following document:
DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Natomas Unified School District (NUSD) Paso Verde School (the proposed project). NUSD proposes to construct and operate a new school (Kindergarten through 8th grade [K–8]) west of Interstate 5 (I-5) and north of Del Paso Road with the capacity to accommodate up to approximately 1,000 students. In accordance with procedures set forth in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), NUSD has determined that an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is required for this project. NUSD is the lead agency for the preparation of the EIR. In accordance with Section 15105 of CEQA, the written public review period for the DEIR commences on Friday, November 9th, 2018 and ends at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 31st, 2018. Written comments will be accepted until the conclusion of the public comment period on Monday, December 31st, 2018 and should be directed to the attention of Jen Mellor, Planning Technician, Facilities & Strategic Planning, Natomas Unified School District, 1901 Arena Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95834. The Draft EIR is available for review at the Natomas Unified School District offices at the address listed above during business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through December 21st, 2018. The Draft EIR can be viewed online between December 22, 2018 and December 31, 2018.
FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT

The Natomas Unified School District (NUSD) has completed a Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to evaluate the potential environmental effects of the proposed Paso Verde School, a Kindergarten through 8th grade school to be located west of Interstate 5 (I-5) and north of Del Paso Road with the capacity to accommodate up to 1,000 students. The Board of Trustees will consider the Final EIR at a regular Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, March 13th, starting at 5:30 pm, or thereafter at 1901 Arena Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95834. The Final EIR is available for review at District offices at 1901 Arena Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95834.
On March 13, 2019, the Natomas Unified School District Board of Trustees took action Certifying the Final Environmental Impact Report and associated documents.
