The Safety and Operations Department provides a wide breadth of services to Natomas Unified School District families, including district-wide safety planning and training, quality meals, transportation for eligible students, the maintenance of all facilities and grounds, and maintaining and fulfilling supply requests.
Safety and Operations includes District Safety Preparations, Transportation, Maintenance, Grounds, Nutrition Services and Warehousing.
The Safety Department provides guidance and assistance in developing the Comprehensive School Safety Plans and training in school safety and crisis management.
The Transportation Department provides daily transportation service for eligible students as well as transportation for extracurricular activities.

Maintenance and Grounds create safe and welcoming learning environments by maintaining all facilities and grounds supporting student learning and community use.
● Nutrition Services
The Nutrition Services Department provides students with a nutritious, appealing and delicious breakfast and lunch in order to enhance learning and performance while establishing positive lifelong eating habits.
Warehousing maintains and fulfills supply requests, curriculum, and furniture needs throughout the district.
