Students in the kitchen learning how to cook

How would you like to take classes in a state-of-the-art restaurant kitchen or indoor dining café – and eat some of your classwork? In NUSD’s Hospitality Pathway, food connects students to future careers. Located here at Discovery High, the program teaches both culinary arts and hospitality — in other words, cooking, nutrition, cost control, menu planning, food preparation in quantity for sales, and basics of dining room operation and service.
