As the Superintendent communicated in a letter on February 2, 2021, a return to a modified, in-person school is an important step for many students and families to see the light at the end of this COVID tunnel, while others would prefer to wait.  Sacramento County is in the state’s Purple Tier.  Purple means we cannot return to in-person classes until state/county guidance allows for it.  When Sacramento County has been Red for 5 consecutive days, districts can reopen in-person.  Red is the next level after Purple.

Staff will be presenting thoughts about reopening at the Board Meeting on February 10, 2021.  It is important to us that we allow parents to choose what they feel is best for their student.  If you completed a decision form in October 2020 and wish to change your decision, or you did not submit a decision form in October, please fill out this survey.  You will need to complete one decision form per NUSD student in your household no later than 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8.

If you do not wish to change your decision, you do not need to complete the survey.
