Colorful NUSD banners are hanging on local street poles these days, and identical posters are displayed prominently in schools, ready to greet students when classes start Wednesday.
They’re large, vivid, hard to miss. … Together, the artwork reflects NUSD’s diversity, and separately, each reminds students of a vital way our schools serve them: “Academics,” “Careers,” “Technology,” “Athletics” and “The Arts.”
Student learning is our driving force, and the messages are consistent with our Board-approved Vision that, “All NUSD students graduate as college and career ready, productive, responsible, and engaged global citizens.” Let’s get this year started!
