COVID- 19 Information

The district offers COVID testing and vaccines to students, staff and community members.

Staff and student testing is available at 1931 Arena Blvd M-F from 7-9 a.m.  No appointment is needed.
Community Testing is Tuesday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  No appointment is needed. Register for a test on this link

COVID vaccines are available, by appointment, per the schedule posted on this link. Currently, we are vaccinating students 5 and older, and providing boosters and new vaccines to staff and community members.

As per the Governor’s order, COVID vaccines will soon be required for all staff and students who participate in in-person learning. Although the mandate has not gone into effect yet, it will be required as early as January 2022.  lease use the COVID-19 link to make an appointment.

At this time, personal belief and medical exemptions are allowed. If you are interested in an exemption for your student (or if you are a staff person), please access the links provided. The completed form must be submitted to the school site or to sent to [email protected].

Urgent Care Now Natomas

Natomas Unified has partnered with Urgent Care Now to open Urgent Care Now – Natomas. Urgent Care Now – Natomas (UCNN) is open to staff and students on Monday and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is located at 1931 Arena Blvd.  This link will take you to the appointment site.  Appointments are preferred but not required.

The purpose of this partnership is to provide the resources necessary to keep our staff and students healthy and in school. UCNN staff will provide basic medical care to our insured, uninsured and underinsured staff, students and family members. Services are provided at no cost. Services provided include:

  • Basic medical care
  • Physicals (preschool, school age, enrollment, etc)
  • Illness exams
  • Prenatal care (not high risk)
  • Staff flu shots (no appointment necessary- available to all staff)
  • Staff TB (no appointment necessary- available to all staff)
  • COVID testing and vaccines
  • COVID symptomatic individuals (to rule out COVID and stay in class)
  • Physical injuries (cuts, bruises, etc)


Natomas Unified provides regular childhood immunizations at no cost to NUSD students. Use this link to make an appointment. Immunizations are offered Wednesdays from 3- 5 p.m. or through the Urgent Care Now – Natomas clinic. Remember- state law requires that all students be fully vaccinated to attend in-person learning.
