2022-2023 is my 8th year at Inderkum High School and my 10th year of teaching overall. This year I will teach Study Skills, Government/Economics, and Consumer Math. I will also be co-teaching Integrated Math 2 with Mrs Josue. I also serve as the department chairperson for Special Education.

In addition to providing resource support in classes and teaching classes, I case manage students at all 4 grade levels.  Other roles I have served in at Inderkum as well include providing resource support in English 9, English 10, and ERWC as well as multiple Math I and Math II classes. I have taught Study Skills, Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2, English 11, and US History for the department as well. I was the 504 coordinator from 2018-2020. I taught Saturday School from 2015-2019. I have also taught credit-recovery summer school since 2016 as well. I have served as a host teacher for a student teacher from Western Governors University during the 19-20 school year. He is now teaching at H. I have done induction at the elementary, middle and high school level for a total of 8 teachers. This year I will be supporting teachers for the 6th consecutive year.

My main goals at Inderkum are to prepare students to be college and career ready and to teach them to advocate for themselves so that they can have successful and meaningful careers and lives following high school. I want them to learn social-emotional skills that allow them to express themselves in ways that are productive, benefit them, and help them be emotionally healthy people.

Graduated with a BA in History and Government (double major, with honors), and graduate of Cohort 2 of the GE Honors Program in 2011. Earned my Education Specialist Mild/Moderate credential with EL Authorization and Autism Authorization in 2013.
