As of February 27, 2014, we are fully authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. We received authorization for the Middle Years Programme (grades 6-10), in conjunction with Natomas Middle School, on January 22, 2016. You can read more about our DP authorization here.
Scholars is an honors program to prepare students in grades 9 and 10 for the rigors, breadth and depth of the IB Diploma Programme. Students apply to be part of the program and are scheduled in accelerated classes taught by IB-trained teachers.
Applications for the Class of 2024 opened on November 15 and are due by January 31, 2020. There is a “how to” document in the application forms section, and the application link is at the right. If you’re interested in applying for the Scholars Class of 2023 or taking IB Diploma Programme courses as part of the Class of 2022, please email first for information. Notifications of acceptance will go out in March 2020.
Please note that there is a separate enrollment process for Inderkum that also needs to be completed in order for your student to be considered for Scholars/IB. Please review this chart carefully to learn the required steps to complete your student’s enrollment.
