--- Teacher will write color coded sentence type, definition and an example with punctuation(for all four types) on poster in front of class. Students will practice making oral sentences of all basic types whole class. Teacher will have students in pairs or teams draw from a bucket with tickets that have one of the four sentence types and an example. Each student will make up a sentence of the type chosen and have other partner or teammates guess (teacher may have to check their sentences to make sure they are correct). Once a teammate or partner is successful, another student will take a turn until all students have had a turn making up a sentence for the ticket they have drawn.
