STUDENT TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTABLE USE AGREEMENT
The Natomas Unified School District supports and respects each family’s right to decide to allow for or request the denial of use of District Technology and/or District Network.
STUDENT USERS
I HAVE READ and understand the provisions of the Natomas Unified School District Student Use of Technology Board Policy 6163.4 and the Administrative Regulation 6163.4 that are available on our district website at http://natomasunified.org/board-of-trustees/board-policies-and-administrative-regulations/.
By using any District Technology or otherwise accessing the District Network on District premises I understand and agree to abide by the provisions and conditions of this policy as well as with any and all District policies and rules which may relate to usage of District Technology and/or the District Network. I also understand that my use of the Internet and electronic communications via District Technology is strictly limited to educational purposes, that I am not guaranteed any rights to privacy with respect to use of the District Technology, including use of District-Owned Devices and the District Network, and that from time to time the District may monitor the District Network for general security purposes and in order to ensure compliance with Board Policy, Administrative Regulation and this Agreement.

The District makes no warranties of any kind, either express or implied, that the functions or the services provided by or through District Technology will be error-free or without defect. The District will not be responsible for any damage or harm users may suffer, including but not limited to, loss of data, interruptions of service, or exposure to harmful or inappropriate material or people. The District is not responsible for the accuracy or quality of the information obtained through the District Network. The District will not be responsible for financial obligations arising through the unauthorized use of District Technology. Student users or parents of student users will indemnify and hold the District harmless from any losses sustained as the result of misuse of the system by the Student user. By allowing your child(ren) access to and use of District Technology and/or the District Network you hereby give your child(ren) permission to use the District Network, and you agree on your own behalf and on behalf of your child(ren) to all terms and conditions set forth in this document.
