New principals have been selected to lead American Lakes and H. Allen Hight elementary schools next year.
In recent months, we began gathering a list of qualified leaders interested in joining Natomas Unified. Because of this, we were able to move quickly to name new principals for these schools.
It is our privilege to announce that Ann Veu will lead American Lakes next year, and Talin Tamzarian will serve as principal of H. Allen Hight.
Ms. Veu is a Natomas resident, bilingual, and has diverse educational experiences at the elementary and secondary school levels. She served this year as a Teacher on Special Assignment at Witter Ranch Elementary School.
Ms. Tamzarian has more than 20 years of service as an educator, most recently as principal of a K-8 school in Sonoma County. She has experience with special education, at-risk students, and implementing intervention programs.
