Multiple Choice Test

As a part of the district vision to prepare you for college and careers, Natomas Unified School District will provide the PSAT to 10th graders and SAT to 11th graders, free of charge, during the school day on March 27th. The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper college admission test administered by the College Board.

Doing well on the SAT can make a big difference in college acceptance and scholarships you could receive. A great way to prepare for the SAT is by using the FREE Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy®. Research shows that 20 hours of Khan Academy SAT Practice is associated with a 115 point score increase from the PSAT/NMSQT.

All you have to do to get started is create and link your College Board and Khan Academy accounts. This will give you a personalized study plan based on your results on the PSAT/NMSQT so you can focus on the skills you need to work on most. For brief video instructions on how you can create and link your accounts, click here. For written instructions, click here.

Also, we wanted you to be aware of a new scholarship program with $5 million of scholarships by the College Board, beginning with the class of 2020. Click here for a video about the new scholarships and go to this website for more information on how to apply.

If you have questions, talk to your teacher, counselor, or college and career specialist.
