Natomas High’s graduating seniors paraded through Jefferson, Bannon Creek and American Lakes schools like champions, cheered by the younger students for proving that passing high school courses, receiving a degree, and preparing for higher education is not a pipe-dream, it’s a reality, within reach of all.
Nighthawk seniors were treated like heroes for their academic prowess and persistence. Real people, of all colors, achieving success. Meanwhile the youngsters were inspired to do their best, so they can wear caps, gowns and join the parade someday, too. … It was a win-win for everyone today. … Pretty cool, pretty darn cool.
