Natomas High School Athletics
Welcome to another exciting year of Nighthawk athletics! We would like to formally extend an invitation for students to participate in our wide-ranging and substantive athletic program, which currently supports seventeen competitive athletic programs throughout the school year. Our teams consist of true student/athletes who continue to focus on academics as they participate in sports. We encourage all students to have this expectation of themselves and to challenge themselves with the support of parents/guardians, coaches, staff, and fellow students. We encourage everyone to come out and celebrate our student/athletes, coaches, and fantastic facilities at Natomas High School.
If you have any questions regarding the NHS athletic program, please do not hesitate to contact Jeremy Arsich.
Natomas High School
Expectation of Excellence/Eligibility Requirements
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
- Passing a minimum of four classes
- Abide by all behavioral expectations at school
- Have acceptable daily attendance (students must attend four periods of school on days of athletic contests)
- Complete Student-Athlete Handbook and Clearance Packet
Each year the Natomas Unified School District requires that each student have a Student-Athlete Clearance Packet completed prior to being eligible to tryout or participate in a school-sponsored sports program. Part of the clearance packet is a physical form that needs to be signed by your child’s physician. The Student-Athlete Clearance Packet is only completed once per year and is due by the deadline of the first sport your child plays.
Thank you for supporting NHS athletics. Go Nighthawks! CAW!
