"Movement is a celebration of life!"
Hi everyone. I will be teaching 6th and 7th grade Physical Education this year. I started teaching Physical Education 15 years ago after a career change lead me back into a credentialing program to pursue my first true love, physical activity. I taught in Georgia and Florida, then moved to the Bay Area in the summer of 2009. It was a great move for me. I love everything the West Coast has to offer. I am new to Sacramento. So far it is working out very well for me. I am originally from Miami, Florida. My family still lives there. My parents are from South America (Ecuador and Venezuela). I grew up speaking English and Spanish, and I also speak some French. I can say thank you in 10 languages 😁.
I attended college at the University of Florida and, if you cut me, I bleed Orange and Blue. I am very proud to have served as the drum major for The Pride of The Sunshine, The University of Florida Fightin' Gator Marching Band. GO GATORS!!! In my spare time I enjoy watching television, hiking, CrossFit, new adventures, trying ethnic foods, and spending time with friends. Lastly, I am very happy to be a part of the NP3 family!
