With the first day of school just four weeks away on Thursday, August 27, we know how challenging it can be for families to keep track of all the communications related to the start of school. Combine that with the impact the global pandemic is having on all of us, and it becomes even more of a challenge to keep up. To help our families stay in the know and to easily access all the information needed to prepare for the new school year, Natomas Unified is creating a Digital Backpack, which will be a one-stop-shop portal of information related to the start of the new school year. Parents will be able to locate such items as daily school schedules, messages from principals, information on how to access courses/classwork, technology needs, academic support, forms, meals, opportunities for extracurricular activities, and much much more. The Digital Backpack will be accessible through each schools’ and district website beginning Monday, August 3.
