The Transition
The transition to middle school is different for everyone. Some students will find themselves at a new school, while other students may only have to switch buildings. No matter what transition your student makes, it will be a different and new adventure. NUSD is committed to ensure that every student can learn and succeed. We will dedicate differentiated resources based on diverse and unique student and family needs. We will engage our families and community as partners for student success. The following videos on essential topics will assist families in supporting their students’ success in middle school.

These brochures listed below provide parent/guardians insights into what their children are learning as they progress through the grade levels. The brochures also offer suggestions for parents/guardians to support their students’ learning and a list of additional resources.
