In our ongoing effort to keep you updated on the impact of COVID-19 on our schools, we want to share with you that Sacramento County School Districts will continue their physical closure for at least three more school weeks. For Natomas Unified that means through May 1st. This was anticipated and DOES NOT change Natomas Unified’s plan to reopen virtually April 20th. As we shared with you yesterday, our teachers will begin piloting materials to support distance learning, and we have begun distributing Chromebooks to our seniors, who noted they needed one in the Technology Survey. We are prepared to distribute the remaining Chromebooks next week and sites will send a schedule to you soon if you are one of the families who shared you needed a Chromebook for your student(s) to participate in distance learning.

It is important to note that if we are allowed to return to our school sites after May 1, we may return to our physical sites. Things are still uncertain at this point, but we want to let you know that it could be a possibility. As always, we will continue to keep you updated.
