Classified – School Site Secretaries

Work Dates: June 1st – June 26th
Total Days of Work: 20
Time: 8:30 – 12:00pm, 3.5 Hours
Pay: Classified Staff Daily Rate

School Site – Job Responsibility

  • Communication and outreach to students and families, fielding both incoming and outgoing communication.
  • Coordinating with administrator and counselor with the clerical components of enrollment
  • Monitoring of student progress and tracking using Google Docs
  • Staff will report directly to their administration assigned to support the school site Summer School

Classified – CDA/IA for Kinder Readiness

Training & Preparation days – May 29th, Time 11:00am – 1:00pm (2 days)
Instructional Dates: June 1st – June 26th, Time 8:45am – 10:45pm (20 days)
Total Days of Work: 21 days
Time: 2 hours/day
Pay: Rate per contract specifications

CDA/IA – Job Responsibility

CDAs/IA will be paid 2 hours a day to support and prepare children who will be entering into TK or K in the fall of 2020. 

Time Activity
9:00 – 9:45 a.m. Direct instruction to large group of 25 students for 15 minutes and 30 minutes of small group instruction provided by teacher and CDA’s at a ratio of 1 to 5.
9:45 – 10:00 a.m. Debrief with staff about zoom session; take notes for adjustments or what went well.
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Available to students and families for via email and/or other virtual platforms to respond to and support students’ needs.

Additional duties include: 

  • Staff will follow the set daily schedule and will be expected to provide daily instruction, resources and supports to students, to determine successful methods of instruction via Distance Learning.
  • Staff will report directly to Natomas Unified School District Coordinator Tiffany Davidson.

Classified Instructional Aid and III – Special Education Staff

Special Education Staff
Training & Preparation days – May 28th – 29th 
Instructional Dates: June 1st – June 26th
Number of days: 22 days
Time: 4 hour a day
Pay: Classified Staff Daily Rate

Includes IA II, IAIII

Time Activity
4 hr a day 5 days per week provide 4 hours a day focused on direct student contact in a workshop model.
1 hr a week Lesson Planning and prep with teacher.

Additional duties include:

  • Job placement based on student need and will be fluid. Movement throughout the summer is to be expected to meet students’ needs.
  • Staff will report directly to Natomas Unified School District Director Tracy Barbieri.
