Kinder Readiness Distance Learning Summer Program

June 1st – June 26, 2020

Time: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Focus of Kinder Readiness:
The Distance Learning Kindergarten Readiness program is designed to help prepare children who are attending Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten in the Fall of 2020.  The program will provide educational opportunities to build foundations in reading, writing and mathematics. Participants will engage in virtual socialization, practice classroom routine and take a virtual tour of Kindergarten Classroom. As this is a program facilitated through Distance Learning, parent/guardian engagement and partnership will be important to support each child’s success. Each Monday from 9:00-9:45 am is a parent/guardian and child Zoom class.  At this meeting, teachers will provide parents/guardians and students with information about learning activities and program information for that week. Children will need support from their parents/guardians with completing learning activities, with getting on to the Zoom class, and with having a learning environment where they can be successful.  Staff will also provide help and support to children and families.  We look forward to working with you and your child!
