We’re ending our Winter Break Feeding program with something special on Friday, Jan. 4: A good old-fashioned, grilled BBQ lunch, with your choice of beef hamburger or turkey hot dog as the entree at Natomas Park Elementary, 4700 Crest Dr. Anyone 18 or under can eat for free, while adults will be charged $3.50. Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Lunch also will be provided Jan. 4 at American Lakes, Jefferson and Witter Ranch schools, from 11:30 a.m. to Noon, but the BBQ is a finale celebration planned only at Natomas Park.
Our two-week Winter Break Feeding program ends Friday because schools reopen Monday.
