Parent University offers a wide array of workshops and classes to support parents/guardians in raising successful students. From workshops on technology to college preparation to one of our most popular courses “Love and Logic,” Parent University is a resource specially designed for the needs of NUSD’s parents.

Please mark your calendar now for the Natomas 5K “Run for Their Future,” which is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020. Hundreds of local residents have participated in the 5K in each of the past three years — and we’re planning on an even larger crowd this year.
NUSD’s schools and Ed Center will be closed to the public during Thanksgiving recess from Monday through Friday, Nov. 25-29.
We are excited to have our Book Fair the week of November 12 through the 15, featuring Scholastic Books! Hours are: 7:30-8:00am Nov.12-15, 1:55-2:30pm Nov. 12-15 and on Art Night from 5:30-7:30pm Nov. 15. Please see attached for Spirit Week.
Having a comprehensive and easy to read format that clearly shows a student’s performance is integral for parents to be better equipped to help their child succeed. That was key in the redesign of Natomas Unified’s elementary report cards. Launching in fall 2019, parents will learn in this episode the extensive work that went into the development, what’s different, and why this matters.
