After reading:
Ask class, “Where else could we/you learn about dinosaurs?” Use student responses to make a list of source ideas.
Ask class to review columns 1 and 2 and generate any additional questions they would like answered or information they want to learn about dinosaurs. Chart these in column 2. Ask them to review the list of source ideas and see if they can work in pairs to find a resource and an answer to one of the questions in column 2.
Provide time to locate sources, research question, and formulate a 1-3 sentence response.
