Requesting Access to Infinite Campus and Other Programs
In order to ensure that staff have appropriate access to Infinite Campus and other programs in a timely manner, it is essential to follow the procedures below.
Brand New Employees
HR initiates the process by submitting a work order for an email account and Infinite Campus access (as appropriate to the new employee’s role). School sites and departments should not be submitting work orders for brand new employees as all new hires need to be confirmed by HR.
Existing Employees – Change/Increase in Access
If an existing employee with Infinite Campus access needs a change or increase in access, a work order needs to be submitted by the employee’s supervisor. Increases in access are subject to approval by an Executive Sponsor Committee. Requests for an increase in access need to include detail about which modules are needed, whether the access is read-only or edit, and what specific tasks require this access. Requests that don’t include all the information above will be subject to delays or denied.
If an employee needs access to additional programs, a work order also needs to be submitted by the employee’s supervisor. Employees should not be submitting work orders for themselves to request program access.
Existing Employees – Change in Role/Site
If an existing employee moves into a new position or changes school site/department, this information needs to be confirmed by HR in the same manner as a new employee. School sites/departments should not be submitting these work orders but should contact HR to submit a work order for a change in Infinite Campus access to reflect the employee’s new site and/or role.
Long-term Substitute Teachers
Infinite Campus access for long-term subs is requested by HR. School sites should not be submitting work orders to set up long-terms subs. Sites should contact HR directly with any concerns about a long-term sub being set up with access or having their assignment and access extended.
