Amy Whitten will be the next Principal of Paso Verde School. She has been the principal of Heron School for the last eight years. She brings with her a plethora of experience as a sitting principal and as a trained International Baccalaureate leader. Her experience in Natomas Unified, as a K-8 principal and as the prior principal at Caleb Greenwood Elementary, when the school worked to become an IB World School, makes her an ideal match for Paso Verde School. Her skill set and experience align well with PVS. NUSD appreciates her willingness to keep the strong work at Paso Verde School moving. Eight years as a principal at the same school is a significant accomplishment. PVS is very lucky to have a principal with Ms. Whitten’s skills and experience.
