Congratulations to Inderkum High School student Christian for receiving a $180,000 NROTC Marine Option Scholarship. As part of the scholarship process, Christian had to select five colleges he was interested in attending. The scholarship was awarded to cover four years of tuition at University of California at Los Angeles where he plans to study kinesiology, pending acceptance. Christian is also weighing out his options and might attend Dartmouth. If Christian attends Dartmouth, the Inderkum senior plans to major in political science and economics.
“Overall, I just feel blessed for the opportunity. I’m just realizing all the hard work I did wasn’t for nothing, and a lot of the nights where I was just exhausted and having to push through adversity, paid off,” Christian said.
