8th graders at American Lakes School were recently given tips on how to prepare for their high school and postsecondary education. Natomas High School staff members shared the importance of speaking with counselors about college plans, getting involved in extracurricular activities, striving for academic excellence, and how Career Technical Education (CTE) pathway courses can help them figure out what their career focus may be.
