The American Lakes School News Team makes sure that the student body is aware of what’s happening at school with weekly news updates. Each week, the team meets with the support of Teacher Stephen Smith to plan, conduct interviews, compose scripts, work behind the scenes, edit, and produce a weekly news broadcast as part of a partnership with the Sacramento Educational Video Association (SEVA). From reporters to anchors to production workers, students have all positions covered for a fantastic newscast!
