In April 2021, NUSD launched its “Digital Badge” recognition program, which awarded staff members with at least 5 years of service a digital badge for their commitment to our students, families, and colleagues. Staff will receive a badge annually via email based on their anniversary date. We have also launched digital badges for specific professional development trainings, district and school recognitions, and staff actions that positively reflect our district theme. Staff is encouraged to proudly display their badge(s) in their email signature.
