Natomas Unified Departments Spread Holiday Cheer through Adopt-a-Family
Several NUSD departments participated in this year’s Adopt-a-Family. Our employees were linked up with families in need, and provided with their wish list! Like Santa, our generous staff provided gifts for the families to enjoy. From toys, to games, to warm blankets and more, our staff showed the true meaning of the holiday season. Thank you to all NUSD employees who donated and helped bring holiday cheer.

Student Performers Sing About Literacy
Students at Witter Ranch Elementary learned the literary elements through song and dance during the production of the Beauty and the Beast Tell All. LEAP Academy
Students Get Crafty at Arts and Crafts Night

Professional counselors and services can help you and your eligible family members resolve a broad range of personal problems affecting your emotional health, family life, and work life.

Feeling worried or nervous is a normal part of daily life. Everyone frets or feels anxious from time to time.
EAP has information and resources to help with anxiety and anxiety disorders, including mini-lessons, videos to watch, and assessments and screeners to identify you or someone you love who may be experiencing anxiety.
In the current audio mini-lesson (less than 5 minutes in length), Dr. Elisha Goldstein, mindfulness expert and psychologist, offers practical advice for navigating what he calls “the loop” – a vicious cycle of negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that can make someone feel trapped.
Find the Anxiety Resource page by visiting liveandworkwell.com and selecting ‘Explore and Learn’ from the top menu. From there you can browse resources by category, or find the articles on anxiety in the highlighted section.
