Pea Nunez, Inderkum High School, Class of 2013
Following her passion for storytelling, Pea decided on a career in film making after making two short films while a student at Inderkum High School. She knew moving to Los Angeles would be a good place to further her skills in the industry, so she applied and got accepted to UCLA where she studied Cinematography.
She now works for a marketing company in Hollywood where she works on trailers and she credits the Inderkum staff and faculty for helping her to be prepared for college and career. “Inderkum staff and faculty were champions of my growth and success as a student, helping me navigate the US education system which is completely different from my home country Peru.” said Pea. “The knowledge they shared with me motivated me to use the resources available through AP classes, digital photography, access to the Natomas Library and so much more. I recognize that these resources are privileges that truly nurtured and enlightened a path toward success.”
