In our continued effort to be a resource for a healthy Natomas, we are piloting Rapid COVID testing with Natomas Unified School District staff members, who are physically working at our centers and school sites, and Natomas Unified students, who are currently enrolled in small cohorts, Day Camps and Day Cares at our school sites. This is one more effort the district is taking to help quickly test individuals to slow the spread of the virus.

Since June 2020, Natomas Unified has been one of 13 testing centers in Sacramento County providing free COVID testing to the community. Each Tuesday, testing is available at the Service Center, located at 1931 Arena Blvd, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  For additional information or to register for a test, please visit https://natomasunified.org/covid-19-testing/.

While the Rapid COVID testing is currently a pilot that’s being offered to a limited group in the month of February, the goal is to offer Rapid testing to the broader community. More information will be shared once we get to that point. Meanwhile, if you are a Natomas Unified staff member physically working at one of our sites or a student, who is on campus, please look for a registration link and parental consent form soon where you will have the option to participate in the pilot. This is voluntary and part of our effort to create a healthy Natomas.
